before the last forum crashed there was a talk about making graphics in photoshop 640x480, or 720x480....ive done some further testing and to my surprise heres what i found... 1..if i create a perfect circle in photoshop and bring into premiere heres what happens 720x480= on tv screen circle measures 9.5 wide by 9 7/8 tall... 640x480= on tv screen circle measures 10 1/8 wide by 9 5/8 tall... neither are no longer a circle but oval, AM I SURPRISED!! turning on maintain aspect ratio still does not create perfect circle...so what is the correct size in maintaining height x width? ______________________________________________________________________ Looks like it ought to happen at 684X480 according to your measurements. ______________________________________________________________________ Here's how we do it. Create your circle in a 640 x 480 image workspace. Once everything is created, change the image dimensions to 720 x 480. The circle will look oval on the computer screen at this point, BUT, when you bring the image into your timeline, it will output to NTSC with proper aspect ratio. Hope this helps, ___________________________________________________________________________
